2008 – The Start

The Riot Club started as a blog when three guys from the North East of England with a passion for all things street had an idea and vision to deliver the latest news from across the industry. As respected people in the skate, snow and streetwear industries we knew what people wanted to hear about because we lived it on a daily basis.

The success of the blog was built on the timely delivery and inside knowledge of a diverse range of topics from clothing and style to art and design, The Riot Club was on point with global happenings. The blog is still running strong and can be found by www.theriotclub.com/blog

2011 – The Brand

The Riot Club expanded from being a blog into a streetwear brand. The brand was launched with collaborations from respected independent boutiques, street artists and skate brands in the UK. Pro skater Danny Wainwright, one of the UK’s most famous skateboarders and Vans European team manager is supported by the brand, this relationship is going strong.

2012 – Distinction

With the launch of the second line The Riot Club took on a very distinctive style, the development has been a slow process and releasing it to a select amount of stores was always the plan. We wanted the feedback of stores like Fifty Fifty in Bristol, Capology in Newcastle, Soi77 in Huddersfield and Street Casuals in Cardiff, people who we respect as good retailers, before releasing the brand nationally.

We launched the 2012 line with the addition of headwear, The Riot Club Starter Snapbacks, Beanies and Bobble hats.

2013 – Progression

After great feedback from our selected retailers over the last two years we are now ready to take the brand nationally. The two new lines have been developed further by the addition of bespoke shirts, jackets, woven hats and 5 panel caps. 2013 is a very exciting year for us, the development of The Riot Club has be planned at every stage and the team behind the brand are looking forward to the next step.
