For Fall 2010, premium footwear brand New Balance and renowned sneaker shop Undefeated have joined forces to create the New Balance x UNDFTD Sonic 574, a limited edition fleece sneaker inspired by retro sweatshirts from the 80’s. More info and images after the jump.

New Balance have just thrown a bright Orange H710 Hiking Sneaker in the mix. The Suede/rip stop version will be released January 2211.

“Over a quarter of a century ago, outdoor hiking boots were firmly on the product development agenda, and in 1982 a shoe was developed with Rainier Mountaineering to mark the first American ascent of the North Wall of Everest. The New Balance 710 takes its inpiration from this boot with its lug sole and detailed stichings.”

For the fall 2010 season, New Balance Lifestyle is reintroducing the popular heritage Pro Court in both high top and low top styles. Both the men’s Pro Court and Pro Court High add significant comfort and “feel” for on and off court play. They provide relief to the wear and tear of court play and for the price it’s in another league. The Pro Court and the Pro Court High both feature a 12 ounce white duck upper, 12 ounce white duck extended saddle, and for added support and durability, they also come with polyethylene footbed inserts with absorbent terry cloth lining for ultimate canvas comfort. The inserts set to the foot for a custom fit as well as providing extra cushioning. The white rubber outsole comes in a herringbone design for traction and durability which is excellent for indoor and outdoor play. The New Balance Pro Court and Pro Court High collection comes in black and white colorways and will be available worldwide on Zappos.com beginning in August 2010 and will retail for $55.00 – $60.00. Directly from New Balance’s running heritage, the 420 is updated for fall 2010 in vibrant suede/nylon colorways. The collection will be available in August 2010 and will retail for $60.00. Originally designed to protect the athlete in the 1970s, the 420 incorporates a three layer outsole and technologically superior patented Extended Saddle. Today, the 420 remains a New Balance classic heritage silhouette providing a low profile sneaker offering for both men and women alike. The New Balance 420 will be available at Zappos.com starting in August 2010 in five colorways: navy/yellow, yellow/blue, green/yellow, grey/red, and blue.

New to Fusshop this week is the sonic welded 574, the shoe takes the iconic classic into a futuristic and modern realm with the new application of sonic welding. Used for technical clothing and industrial fabrics, sonic welding is an environmentally friendly alternate to sewing or gluing. The process of heat and pressure application to the seams of pattern pieces fuses the shoe together cutting out waste and crafting the 574 to be airtight and watertight. The materials used in the Sonic 574 include the synthetic material, Tirrenina Nubuck, a unique material which does not exist anywhere else on the market. Tirrenina Nubuck is made using a solvent-free process, which significantly reduces the usage of water and carbon dioxide. Along with the unique nubuck, the Sonic 574 also features 0.9550 square yards of material on the upper, which is half of the amount most shoes use. The Sonic 574 is deconstructed in design, beautifully executed in rich, basic-colored suede’s with pops of neon’s on the Encap. Available in Black/Turquoise and Grey/Neon Yellow.

New Balance taps its strong running heritage with the reissue of the New Balance 205 the racing shoe, named in honor of US Marathoner Khalid Khannouchi’s then world record of 2:05:42 set in the Chicago Marathon in 1999. Khalid later wore the RC205WR when he bettered his time to 2:05:38 during the 2002 London Marathon. This time still stands as an American Record for the 26.2 mile distance. ore info after the jump.

Set to drop in May 2010 is this new collaboration between New Balance and Atmos. Showcasing a colorful motif as usual, this new take on the 574 not only lands another New Balance design under atmos’ belt but also helps celebrate its 10th Anniversary.
